The Michigan Medicine Interprofessional Research Committee Statement:

The Michigan Medicine Interprofessional Research Committee (MMIRC) will work to promote the health and well-being of patients, families, and communities across the life span. As such, the mission of the Michigan Medicine Interprofessional Research Committee is to support already existing clinical practice in Michigan Medicine by evidence, and to contribute to the development and dissemination of new evidence based clinical practice in health and mental health. In order to achieve its mission, the MMIRC will engage mid-level providers in research activities by:

  1. Providing access to research training, mentorship and collaboration
  2. Supporting staff in presenting their findings in peer reviewed journals and at national and international conferences
  3. Encouraging interdisciplinary research collaborations that further evidence-based clinical practice.

The Michigan Medicine Interprofessional Research Committee meets the fourth Tuesday of every month from 8:30am-9:30am. For more details, please contact Julie Piazza
