Bo's Team: You can join "Bo's Team" with a $10,000
(or more) donation to the fund.
Bo Schembechler proved that a diagnosis of cardiovascular disease need not be a death sentence if you can build a team to help put a game plan together to beat it. As a member of Bo's Team, you will receive a bronze miniature of the statue which is located in the clinic lobby of the U-M Frankel Cardiovascular Center, and you will join the Heart of a Champion team in Bo's truest sense of the word. Together you share Bo's hope that supporting cardiovascular research will yield new observations in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease which will help others in the same way that Bo benefited from a series of medical and surgical advances. Like Bo, team members are passionate about facilitating research breakthroughs that will ultimately help each of us win in our own medical battles. The Heart of a Champion Book
Before cardiovascular disease claimed his life, Bo shared his game plan to fight our nation's #1 killer and to inspire others fighting for their lives in his book The Heart of a Champion: My 37-Year War Against Heart Disease.

As another way to honor her husband's wish to raise money to support the Frankel Cardiovascular Center, Cathy Schembechler commissioned a wine in Bo's name to commemorate the many wonderful memories she and Bo shared visiting wineries and enjoying special bottles of wine together. Cathy generously donates all royalties to her husband's fund.
