Residents and Research

Every 3rd year resident is assigned a dedicated half-day of time in our Program for Clinical Research in Dermatology (PCRiD). This unique experience teaches senior residents the fundamentals of clinical research, giving residents the ability to critically appraise clinical trial literature and to perform clinical research in their future careers. Residents learn to utilize research tools including the PASI, PGA, EASI, and others. Residents serve as sub-investigators on sponsored and departmental clinical trials and clinical research projects. All residents are encouraged to develop a clinical research project over the course of their residency.
