How to make an appointment
If your insurance company has listed the University of Michigan Health System as an approved provider for your healthcare, or if you are able to choose your own health care provider, we recommend you select a primary care provider. The following is a list of our health centers, all of which provide excellent primary care:

- Canton Health Center
- Chelsea Health Center
- Dexter Family Health Center
- East Ann Arbor Health and Geriatrics Center
- Livonia Health Center
- Saline Health Center
- West Ann Arbor Health Center
- Ypsilanti Health Center
Each of the above provides you with a telephone number for appointments.
Making appointments with a specialist
If you are interested in making an appointment with a specific doctor; or if you know you want a specific service, such as Obstetrics and Gynecology, please visit our Find a Doctor / Find a Clinical Service page and use the search function to access what you are looking for.
Referring Physicians
Often a referral is necessary to get an appointment with a specialty clinic. Information on this process is available on our Services for Physicians web page.
