Abuse Prevention Initiative
This is a safe place for survivors to get help and support whenever they are ready and able.

Body and Soul
The U-M Comprehensive Cancer Center partners with area churches in the Body & Soul program. This wellness program is a celebration of healthy eating and healthy living, promoted by African American churches. Body & Soul has many partners, including the American Cancer Society and the National Cancer Institute.

Community Baby Shower
Washtenaw County  mothers and expectant mothers can learn more about programs and services available to them and their families in a fun, interactive and informative way by participating.

DIA de LaMujer
The Day of the Latin American Woman, a national non-profit organization which has partnered with the U-M Comprehensive Cancer Center to provide this day of health education and health screenings for Latina women.

Women of Color Task Force Annual Career Conference
Organized by the Center for Education of Women, this conference offers professional and personal development workshops and enhances the task force function of providing a forum for the exchange of information about the status of women of color at the University of Michigan.

Women’s Health and Fitness Day
To better address women’s health education needs, the Women’s Health Program annually co-sponsors and supports the U-M Women’s Medical Student Association in offering this annual event devoted to addressing the health needs of women in the community. The event is a forum for U-M health care professionals to reach out to women in the community and to address preventive health issues and how to live a healthy life.
