Volunteer

Women’s Health Resource Center volunteers assist patients, their families and community members with accessing health and wellness information about important topics such as cardiovascular disease, nutrition, menopause and childbirth.

The WHRC is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Volunteers work in two shifts per day – either a morning shift from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. or an afternoon shift from 1 to 4 p.m. – for a minimum commitment of 6 months. Volunteers should have an interest in women’s health and wellness, strong communication skills, and computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel and the Internet. We may ask volunteers to participate in specific projects or duties, depending on their interests, skills and experiences.

If you are interested in volunteering at the Women’s Health Resource Center, please contact the University of Michigan Volunteer Services at 734-936-4327 or their Web site..
