Women's Health Resource Center
The Women’s Health Resource Center (WHRC), established in 1995 provides women and their families with access to credible health information in a comfortable and supportive environment. Staff and volunteers are available to help clients select health and wellness information and to connect women to other resources within the University of Michigan Health System and community agencies.
The WHRC is located on the first floor of the Taubman Center in the waiting area of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic. The Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. When the WHRC is closed, messages may be left on a 24-hour voice message system. - Computer access to reliable consumer health information Web sites
- A lending library with more than 500 books
- Pamphlets, handouts, articles and newsletters on hundreds of health and wellness topics
- Educational classes and seminars
- Support for breastfeeding mothers
- Connection to UMHS programs, services and physicians.
