U-M supports and encourages student research activity.  Developing the interests of people who wish to be involved in research is the first step to finding the answers to tomorrow’s unknown health questions.

The U-M Summer Biomedical Research Program
The University of Michigan Medical School Student Biomedical Research Programs provides a mentored, funded, 10-week research experience for medical students.

Global REACH
Global Research, Education and Collaboration in Health provides information on international research and elective experiences for students.

MIRT - Minority and Health Disparities International Health Training Program
The MIRT program is supported by the National Institutes of Health and provides students from minority and health disparity populations with an opportunity to experience an intense international research experience related to problems that effect disadvantaged minority populations in the United States and worldwide.

Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP)
UROP provides an opportunity for all undergraduate students to participate in collaborative research.  It is open to students from all schools or colleges.
