make a difference—volunteer!
Are you looking for an interesting volunteer experience? The University of Michigan Women’s Health Resource Center (WHRC) benefits from volunteers who help patients, their families and community members access health and wellness information about important topics such as cardiovascular disease, nutrition, menopause and childbirth.

The WHRC is open Monday through Friday. Volunteers make a six-month commitment and choose from two shifts per day—either a morning shift from 9 a.m. to noon or an afternoon shift from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Volunteers should have an interest in women’s health and wellness, strong communication skills, and computer literacy, including proficiency with MS Word, Excel and the Internet. Volunteers may be asked to participate in specific projects or duties, depending on their interests, skills and experiences.

If you are interested in volunteering at the Women’s Health Resource Center, please contact the University of Michigan Volunteer Services at (734) 936-4327 or visit the volunteer services
Web site.
