High School Teens (Ages 16-18) - Steps for Volunteering at UMHS
High School Teens between the ages of 16-18 can apply to volunteer at UMHS for the summer term only (June-August).
Note: Teens must be 16 years of age by June 15th to be eligible to volunteer. This includes students who have graduated from high school but not yet started college.

NEW Teen Volunteers – Follow these steps:
Step 1 - Sign up for an Information Session. You must attend an Information Session accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to be eligible to volunteer. Sign up online here: Teen Information Session. Please be on time! Late arrivals will have to reschedule.

Step 2 - Schedule and attend an Interview. Instructions for scheduling an interview will be provided at the Information Session. Bring ALL items listed on the Volunteer Interview Checklist to your interview. You will forfeit your appointment if your materials are incomplete. Your interview will last approximately 2 hours.
Step 3 - Sign up and attend a Volunteer Orientation. Instructions for scheduling an Orientation will be provided at the Information Session. You may attend Orientation before or after your Interview date, but please choose the earliest possible date.
