Steps for Volunteering at UMHS
Community Members (who are not students) can apply to volunteer at UMHS at any time. Monthly Orientations are scheduled to accommodate our community members' schedules.

NEW Community Volunteers – Follow these steps:
Step 1 - Sign up to attend an Information Session. You must attend an Information Session to be eligible to volunteer. Please be on time! Late arrivals will have to reschedule.

Step 2 - Schedule and attend an Interview. Instructions for scheduling an interview will be provided at the Information Session. Bring ALL items listed on the Volunteer Interview Checklist to your interview. We cannot complete your registration if your materials are incomplete. Your interview will last approximately 2 hours.
Step 3 - Sign up for a Volunteer Orientation. Instructions for scheduling an Orientation will be provided at the Information Session. You may attend Orientation before or after your Interview date, but please choose the earliest possible date.
