Community Members (non-students) can apply to volunteer at UMHS at any time. Monthly Orientations are scheduled to accommodate our community members’ schedules.

NEW Community Volunteers — Follow these steps:

Step 1 - Attend an Information Session or call Volunteer Services at 734-936-4327 for information about currently available volunteer opportunities. (Information Sessions are held 3 times a year - April, September, and December.)

INFORMATION SESSIONS

Winter 2015 Information Session (January - April)
Monday, December 1 12:00 - 1:00 pm
Tuesday, December 2 6:30 - 7:30 pm
Thusday, December 4 5:30 - 6:30 pm
Spring/Summer 2015 Information Session (May - August) - Check website in mid-March.

Step 2 - Schedule and attend an Interview. Bring ALL items listed on the Volunteer Interview Checklist to your interview. Your interview will last approximately 2 hours.

Step 3 - Sign up to attend General Orientation.
