Community Members (non-students) can apply to volunteer at Michigan Medicine at any time. Monthly Orientations are scheduled to accommodate our community members’ schedules.

NEW Community Volunteers — Follow these steps:

Step 1. Register to attend an Information Session. You must attend an Information Session to be eligible to volunteer! Information Sessions are held three (3) times a year - April (for the Spring/Summer session, May - August), September (for the Fall session, September - December), and December (for the Winter session, January - April).


The next Information Session is for volunteering during the Spring/Summer 2017 session.

Registration for this Information Session will open on Monday, March 27, 2017at 12:00 pm.

Saturday, April 22, 2017 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Fall 2017 (September - December) Information Session Dates - Check website in July.

Step 2 - Schedule and attend an Interview. Bring ALL items listed on the Volunteer Interview Checklist to your interview. Your interview will last approximately 2 hours.

Step 3 - Sign up to attend General Orientation.
