Steps for Volunteering at UMHS
Community Members (non-students) can apply to volunteer at UMHS at any time. Monthly Orientations are scheduled to accommodate our community members’ schedules.

NEW Community Volunteers — Follow these steps:
Step 1 - Attend an Information Session or call Volunteer Services at 734-936-4327 for information about currently available volunteer opportunities. (Information Sessions are held 3 times a year - April, September, and December.)

|Tuesday, April 14||10:00 - 11:00 am|
|Thursday, April 16||5:00 - 6:00 pm|
|Saturday, April 25||1:30 - 2:30 pm|
|Fall 2015 Information Session (September - December) - Check website in mid-August.|
Step 2 - Schedule and attend an Interview. Bring ALL items listed on the Volunteer Interview Checklist to your interview. Your interview will last approximately 2 hours.
Step 3 - Sign up to attend General Orientation.
(Attendance at one is mandatory for new volunteers)
