Steps for Volunteering at UMHS
Community Members (who are not students) can apply to volunteer at UMHS at any time. Monthly Orientations are scheduled to accommodate our community members' schedules.

NEW Community Volunteers – Follow these steps:
Step 1 - Call Volunteer Services for information about scheduling an interview - 734-936-4327.
Step 2 - Attend your scheduled interview at Volunteer Services. Bring ALL items listed on the Volunteer Interview Checklist to your interview. We cannot complete your registration if your materials are incomplete. Your interview will last approximately 2 hours.
To help you find parking and the Volunteer Services office, please PRINT the Directions to Volunteer Services and bring them with you.
Step 3 - Sign up for a Volunteer Orientation. Instructions for scheduling an Orientation will be provided at the Interview. You may attend Orientation before or after your Interview date, but please choose the earliest possible date.
