College and Graduate School Students
Steps for Volunteering at UMHS
College Undergraduates and Graduate Students can apply to volunteer at UMHS three times a year: in April for Spring/Summer term, September for Fall term, and December for Winter term.
Note: First semester Freshmen are not eligible to volunteer.

NEW Volunteers – Follow these steps:
Step 1 - Sign up to attend an Information Session. You must attend an Information Session to be eligible to volunteer. Please be on time! (We do not operate on "Michigan Time"!) Late arrivals will have to reschedule.

Step 2 - Schedule and attend an Interview. Instructions for scheduling an interview will be provided at the Information Session. Bring ALL items listed on the Volunteer Interview Checklist to your interview. You will forfeit your appointment if your materials are incomplete. Your interview will last approximately 2 hours.
Step 3 - Sign up to attend Volunteer Orientation. Instructions for scheduling an Orientation will be provided at the Information Session. You may attend Orientation before or after your Interview date, but please choose the earliest possible date.
