Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the University of Michigan Health System. We are currently no longer accepting appointments for Winter (January - April) volunteer opportunities. Please consider us for spring/summer 2008. Calls to schedule interview appointments will begin on Monday, May 5, 2008 at 9:00 am. Appointments are scheduled until all available interview times are filled. Interviews will begin on May 12, 2008 at 8:30 am. We ask volunteers for a six month commitment, usually donating 2-4 hours per week. During the Spring/Summer we have a Summer Teen Volunteer Program, as well as a summer only program for out-of-state college students.
Please take a moment to download the Volunteer Checklist and UMHS Volunteer Application. Please note, that you must have completed all of the items on the checklist that pertain to you. The reference forms may be hand-carried to the interview appointment. Failure to have all of the requested materials may require you to forfeit your interview appointment. We cannot guarantee that you will be able to reschedule. If you have difficulty downloading the documents, please call 734-936-4327, x-3 or e-mail to request an application. If you expressed an interest in more than one placement opportunity, please complete only one volunteer application.
