Lentiviral shRNA tester samples (5 × 3 ml of supernatant. |
Tester samples are a "quick and dirty" product tailored toward screening several shRNA products. Each 3 ml tester prep requires 2.5 μg of purified proviral plasmid DNA***. The cost is for a set of five. However, if you do not have 5 constructs, multiple 3 ml preps of the same construct can be performed (2 of one construct and 3 of another, etc.). |

Lentiviral shRNA Library Clones
The pGipZ Library: University of Michigan only has a partial
license for Open Biosystems' lentiviral pGipZ library which includes all the
V2L clones (see Oligo ID #) and a handful of V3L clones.
In-Stock Clones:
We have all the pGipZ clones covered under the original license (see below to
identify these clones). In addition, we have a small but growing list of
lentiviral shRNA clones from the pGipZ (V3L), pLKO.1 and pTripZ libraries. At
this time we do not have a searchable database listing the random pGipZ
(V3L), pLKO.1 and pTripZ library clones. We will cross reference all these
orders to what we have in stock. This product comes as a bacterial streaked
plate.
pGipZ clones covered under the original license: We have all human pGipZ
clones up to plate 0750 and all mouse clones up to plate 0629. Search clones
at Open Biosystems. For plate location, click Oligo ID to view details about
clone, find location followed by a number, ex. 172_0410-B-8 (see graphic
below). The set of four digits highlighted in yellow indicate the plate
number.
Non-Stock Clones:
For all lentiviral shRNA constructs not in-stock: We offer a cost-sharing service
where we will order the constructs for the customer at 50% of cost, plus a
$40 handling fee. The library clones that qualify are pGipZ V3Ls, pLKO.1,
and pTripZ. The product comes as a bacterial aliquot or a streaked plate of
the desired clone.

Antibiotic Resistance and Selection:
pGipZ and pTripZ: Ampicillin (carbenicillin, 100
