Dow Division for Urologic Health Services Research
My interest in health services research began during my minimally invasive urologic surgery fellowship where I was introduced to the concepts of cost, quality and access to urologic care. I was mentored in the role of secondary dataset analyses using nationally representative data to assess practice patterns, trends and outcomes for kidney stone disease as well as advanced robotic surgery. Since my appointment at University of Michigan, I am continuing to investigate outcomes in kidney stone disease using national datsets and systematic review. My longitudinal agenda includes operational partnerships with loco-regional colleagues to advance patient safety in kidney stone disease.
