Dr. Jeffery S. Montgomery's clinical interests include the diagnosis and treatment of all urologic malignancies, with a primary clinical focuses on bladder, prostate and penile cancers using both open and robotic techniques. In addition, he treats locally advanced kidney cancer, including those patients with IVC thrombus. He has a 50% appointment at the Ann Arbor VA hospital and acts as the urology section chief at that facility. Dr. Montgomery's primary research interests include cost-effectiveness and health-related quality of life analyses, as well as novel applications of minimally-invasive surgical techniques in the field of urologic oncology. Dr. Montgomery is a Michigan native and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. He then went on to complete his medical education at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons before finishing his Urology residency at the University of Michigan. He completed his urologic oncology fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2008.
