Faculty Affiliate Program

The Medical Innovation Center (MIC) welcomes all faculty who are engaged in biomedical and health-related research, education or entrepreneurial activities across all UM campuses and beyond.

Become a MIC Affiliate and receive the following benefits:

  • expand your sphere of influence through a multi-disciplinary network of professionals who share your interests
  • interact with industry and the community-at-large as part of the MIC network
  • interact with the MIC Fellows
  • access MIC updates and discussion forums not available to the general public
  • advise or team with colleagues and students on externally funded research projects

Launching in 2009:

Innovation Grants — a unique funding mechanism created to inspire new innovations and to provide critical resources to investigators with early-stage technologies who are focused on advancing their technologies to the clinic.

Mentors & Advisors Network — a resource of bioentrepreneurs and experts who have volunteered to advise faculty in developing and commercializing biomedical technologies.
