MIC hosts design session with product design firm SundbergFerar

April 15, 2011 - The University of Michigan Medical Innovation Center (MIC) hosted a design session with SundbergFerar, a Michigan-based product design firm, to leverage the experience of University of Michigan Health System (UMHS) healthcare workers in the development of a new patient transportation device. The new device was demonstrated for feedback from UMHS physical therapy, nursing, and patient lift teams. SundbergFerar will use this feedback to refine the design to better accommodate the needs of both patients and healthcare workers.
