The healthcare industry is undergoing dramatic change due to mounting challenges, such as increasing healthcare costs, reimbursement pressures, demographic changes, personalized medicine, and transitioning points of care, just to name a few. With change comes opportunity – an opportunity for innovative solutions that make a real difference. We have, therefore, created the Medical Innovation Center, a unique partnership among the University of Michigan's prestigious schools and colleges, to be a nexus for health innovations through education and collaboration.
