James Geiger, MD, Executive Director

Dr. Geiger is Executive Director of the Medical Innovation Center and a Professor of Surgery at the University of Michigan where he also serves as Director of the Minimally Invasive Surgery Program and Surgical Director of the Pediatric Comprehensive Weight Management Center. Dr. Geiger earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He completed his General Surgery residency, a Surgical Critical Care fellowship, and a Pediatric Surgery Fellowship at University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor. He is board certified in pediatric surgery, general surgery, and surgical critical care.
