Integrative Medicine Fellowship
The 2014-15 fellowship year has been filled. We will begin accepting applications for 2015-16 on a rolling basis in August 2014.
The goal of the U-M Integrative Medicine Fellowship at the University of Michigan is to produce leaders in the field of integrative medicine who excel in clinical practice. It is a 12-month fellowship for family medicine physicians interested in pursuing post-residency training in the clinical practice of integrative medicine.
The U-M Integrative Medicine Fellowship provides core clinical training for family physicians working to successfully care for diverse populations of patients. The fellowship trains physicians to skillfully integrate the best of conventional and alternative medicine, and to assume leadership roles in the emerging field of integrative medicine.
Applications are accepted starting in August for the following academic year. Interviews will be held in the fall. Other than the fellowship, we do not offer rotations or preceptorships to individuals from outside of the University of Michigan at this time.
The fellowship year runs July through June. Fellowship Director: Amy B. Locke, M.D.
Applicants are required to be residency-trained in the United States in family medicine, certified or board eligible by the American Board of Family Medicine, and have a significant commitment to a teaching and/or research career in integrative medicine. International medical graduates must possess a J-1 Visa to enter the program.
