Publishing on www.med.umich.edu
UMHS staff may use the web
server run by MCIT at www.med.umich.edu
(known as MED-INFO on the interal Novell network) to publish UMHS-related
departmental or project information. Here's how:
- Request
access to the webserver
- The www.med.umich.edu server should be
used only for publishing UMHS departmental or project-related materials
only. The U-M Information Technology Central Services (ITCS) provides
instructions on how
to publish your personal homepage on their web servers.
- To publish on a web server other
than www.med.umich.edu, you'll need to contact whoever is
listed as the contact on that website..

How the UMHS external and internal
websites are set up, what kind of publishing software MCIT will install
for you for free, and technical information about the webserver.
