Blue Folder Brigade
Welcome to the Blue Folder Brigade (BFB) homepage! Here you should find all the information you need to be an effective BFB member. If not, be sure to let us know!
Purpose of BFB – Keep Blue Folders Current, Accurate, and Compliant
The Blue Folder Brigade is comprised of representatives across UMHHC who
are responsible for managing the Blue Folder process. The BFB member is
the department(s) designated person responsible for
being knowledgeable about Blue Folder requirements, the department’s
process for ensuring compliance, and coordinating documentation into the
folders to prove compliance.
Blue Folders must be kept current and contain the correct information. Blue
Folders are a tool to assist managers on how to document staff competence.
The Performance
Management Process Matrix (PDF) is the foundation for how we assess
competency.
Participation in the BFB encourages members to share process information and best practices among other BFB members, help design any changes that need to be made as standards are updated or added, and to be educated on TJC HR Standards.
