Towsley Center Main Facility:

The Clinical Simulation Center is located in the Towsley Center G2305 on the main campus of the medical center. The facility houses two mock O.R. / trauma rooms with adult and pediatric human patient simulators, multiple procedural simulators and task trainers. Procedural simulators may be projected on to a large wall screen or viewed on a wide plasma screen. The facility is fully integrated with audio/visual equipment to allow digital recording of simulations from a variety of angles simultaneously for debriefing and future review and refinement.

Control Room:

The control room overlooks the main simulation center via a large one-way window. This room is considered the nerve center of the UMCSC and houses the simulator and audio/visual control equipment.

Administrative and Technical Support Offices:

The UMCSC Manager, Systems Analyst and Clinical Coordinator are located adjacent to the UMCSC in Towsley G2311. This close proximity to the UMCSC allows fast and easy access to support as needed.

Simulation Center Scheduling and Billing:

First time users who desire to develop clinical scenarios, please allow two weeks for consultation, planning and system programming before your first session.
