The VideoMac is a Macintosh intubating laryngoscope with an embedded endoscopy camera. It also has a light source and the video stream is routed into the preview monitor. A video output from the system is also provided and can be routed to a bigger screen if necessary.

Video transmission of the view from the distal blade tip allows demonstration, teaching and monitoring tracheal intubation. The video view around the curvature of the blade provides a better visualisation of the cords than obtained by direct vision.
