The LapSIM simulator focuses on implanting basic skills that would be needed by the trainee towards performing a bigger procedure (Please see listing of skills below). Practice sessions can vary in graphic complexity as well as in the level of difficulty.

Courses can easily be created or modified by the teacher to fit a student´s specific needs, or the requirements of a training curriculum. Course saving, import and export functions facilitates course sharing between educators and institutions.
