Curriculum Development

The use of simulation to facilitate instruction is integrated into the broader curriculum to provide the optimum connections of knowledge and skill development for students in the health professions. The faculty and staff of the clinical simulation center work with the various specialty departments to develop curriculum for graduate and continuing medical education, as well as with the schools of medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and dentistry. Curriculum design and development is an important area of research for UMCSC. Inquiries specific to curriculum design, development, or associated research should be sent to Dr. Pamela Andreatta.
