Project Submission Protocol

Hello! We are excited to support your research in simulation-based education.

If you have a research idea, but need assistance developing/refining your proposal, please contact Dr. Deborah Rooney (Director of Education and Research for CSC, and Chair, CSC Research Committee), who will be happy to assist you.

If you have a research proposal you would like to submit for review by the CSC Research Committee, please include the required information below. Also, please remember to review CSC Research policy prior to submitting a proposal.

The following items are required for all proposals:

  • Title
  • Primary investigator
  • Sponsoring department
  • External funding
  • Co-investigators and department
  • Brief background/justification of research
  • Research question(s)/hypotheses
  • Methods to include:
    • Participant-sample description
    • Intervention description
    • Assessment plan
    • Instrument/proposed measures (draft copy is adequate)
    • Proposed analyses
  • Expected benefits of study
  • Expected CSC resource support
  • Time Limitations/expected schedule of completion

All research proposals are submitted electronically by email to Dr. Deborah Rooney (Director of Education and Research for CSC, and Chair, CSC Research Committee).
