Dr. Andrew Chang received his medical degree from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. He completed his residency in general surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He completed his residency in cardiac and thoracic surgery and pursued additional fellowship training in both congenital heart surgery and general thoracic surgery at the University of Michigan before joining the faculty at the University of Michigan in 2004.

Dr. Mark Orringer received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh Medical School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Kevin Chan received his medical degree in 1987 from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He completed his internal medicine residency at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s in Chicago. He completed his pulmonary and critical care fellowship training at the UCLA Center for the Health Sciences, in Los Angeles, California. He joined the faculty at the University of Michigan in 2005.

Dr. Steven Gay received his medical degree from the University of Illinois in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his pulmonary medical residency at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, Illinois and his pulmonary fellowship at the University of Michigan. After completing his pulmonary fellowship training, he joined the faculty of the University of Michigan in 1997.

Dr. MeiLan Han
Assistant Professor, Internal Medicine
Dr. MeiLan Han received her medical degree from the University of Washington, Seattle, WA in 1999. She completed her internal medicine residency in 2002 and her fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine in 2005 at the University of Michigan. She completed her master's of science in biostatistics and clinical research at the University of Michigan in 2007. She directs the Women's Respiratory Health Clinic and the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program at Michigan. Her research interests include COPD, interstitial lung disease, and lung transplant. She joined the faculty at the University of Michigan in July, 2005.

Dr. Robert Hyzy

Dr. Robert Hyzy received his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine, in 1982. He completed his residency in 1985 and his fellowship of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine in 1989, at the University of Michigan. His clinical interests include Dyspnea, chronic cough, interstitial lung disease, severe asthma, sepsis, acute respiratory failure and acute respiratory distress syndrome. Research interests include acute respiratory distress syndrome, intensive care medicine and interstitial lung disease. He joined the faculty at the University of Michigan in May, 2002.

Dr. Vibha Lama received her medical degree from Dayanand Medical College in Punjab, India. She completed her Internal Medicine residency and Chief residency at Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Fernando Martinez received his medical degree from the University of University of Florida School of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Jeong Mi (Jamie) Park completed her education as a PharmD at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. She continued her post-doctoral training as a transplant immunology fellow at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington and, then, her pharmacy practice residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. In 2002 Dr. Park joined the faculty of the University of Michigan.
