We would like to introduce the GROW study, a study of placental vascular development and fetal outcomes.

GROW stands for "Gestational Regulators of Weight." This research project will help us find out more about why some babies are born smaller than others. This is important because babies who are born too small can have serious medical problems at birth and throughout their lives.

Inadequate blood flow to the baby during pregnancy is one cause of poor growth. Our study will measure several factors related to blood flow to the baby in order to determine the influence of these factors on growth during pregnancy. Finding relationships between these factors, blood flow, and growth will help doctors better care for pregnant women and improve the health of future babies.

If you are interested in participating in this study, please do not hesitate to contact our research team.
