Acute Transport

Hours of Operation: 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. Monday - Friday & 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Saturday

The SWAT nurse will provide safe transport of the ICU patient (road trips) to diagnostic procedural areas. The patients will receive continuous monitoring and treatment throughout the transport and procedure.

The SWAT nurse will provide physician-ordered conscious sedation including pre- and post-procedure assessment and monitoring.

By combining the most advanced patient care and transportation needs with highly skilled personnel and teamwork, SWAT nurse ensures continuity and quality of care, a safe transport environment and a high standard of professionalism.
