How to refer
Referrals are welcomed from physicians and insurers. For medically-based communication or swallowing evaluation, a physician's referral is required.

Individuals requesting accent reduction evaluation/treatment may self-refer.
Internal Referrals
Referral from within UMHS may be tubed to: #136 for adult patients and to #343 for pediatric patients or faxed to 615-1532.
External Referrals

Location/Times
The Adult In-Patient and Out-Patient services at University Hospital are located on the first floor of University Hospital, 1D203. The clinic hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday. link to map
Pediatric In-Patient and Out-Patient services are located on Floor 2 of C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital, F2593 in the Department of Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Clinic hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday- Friday. link to map
Adult out-patient services at Briarwood, including the Adult NeuroRehabilitation Program, are located at MedRehab, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. MedRehab is located at 355 Briarwood Circle. Outpatient program hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Link to map. The contact number is 734 998-7710.
Pediatric out-patient services at Briarwood, including the Pediatric NeuroRehabilitation Program, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, are located at MedRehab Milestones, Briarwood Building 2, Suite A, 400 E. Eisenhower Parkway. Outpatient hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, 8:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday and 8 a.m. to 5 a.m. Friday. The contact number is 734 998-7710. Link to map
