In response to popular demand and rapid changes in the field of advanced MRI integration in Radiation Oncology, a 4th MR in RT symposium will be convened at the University of Michigan on June 18-19, 2016. This symposium will cover education, clinical applications, and cutting edge research on MRI in Radiation Therapy.
Medical Physicists, Radiation Oncologists, Radiologists, and other technical professionals interested in advanced Magnetic Resonance applications in Radiation Therapy
This symposium is being reviewed by CAMPEP for up to 15 MPCE credits,
Provide education on MR basics and common applications in Radiation Oncology, including quality assurance of MRI for RT, MRI-only treatment planning, MRI for brachytherapy, and optimization of MRI for Radiation Oncology
Discuss emerging applications of MRI in Radiation oncology, including “4D” MRI and MRI as a biomarker for prognosis, assessment and individualization of treatment
Discuss and debate the added value of advanced MRI in Radiation Oncology as well as MR-guided teletherapy
Provide an interactive forum for presentation and discussion of novel research related to MRI in Radiation Oncology
Provide an interactive forum for discussion of technical advances with vendors actively interested in MRI in Radiation Oncology
