About Radiation Oncology at
Ingham Regional Medical Center
The Radiation Oncology Center (ROC)
is one of Ingham Regional Medical Center's premiere areas of service. The ROC
is one of the most modern and comprehensive
therapy centers in mid-Michigan, offering
sophisticated therapy technology and
treatment planning administered by a
multidisciplinary cancer team and serving
approximately 40 patients each day. The
facility features:
- A one-of-a-kind partnership between
Ingham Regional Medical Center, U-M
and Michigan State University
- Implementation of precise, three-dimensional
computer planning
- Standing as the first facility in
the Lansing area to offer the latest
treatment advances in such therapies
as Mammosite and Zevalin
- A state-of-the-art linear accelerator
to deliver radiation therapy
