About the Paul Tejada Center for Radiation Oncology at Foote Hospital

The Paul Tejada Center for Radiation Oncology is located within the 411-bed Foote Hospital comprehensive health system in Jackson, Michigan. The Center is the result of a unique joint venture between Foote Hospital and the U-M that provides patients with the latest in radiation treatment technology and a dedicated staff under the direction of two U-M faculty members. Treatment for patients includes access to the most current research protocols and utilization of state-of-the art equipment. The facility features:

• 2 Varian linear accelerators for radiation oncology treatment
• Access to the services of an on-site social worker
• Nutrition evaluation as part of patient assessment
• Van service for patients who do not have transportation to and from daily treatment

Main services

• External beam radiation therapy for cancer patients
• Three-Dimensional Conformal Radiation Therapy
