General x-rays, such as chest x-rays and bone films, are done on a walk-in basis and do not require an appointment. All other examinations and procedures require a scheduled appointment.

Please call the Radiology Call Center at (734) 936-4500 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. weekdays to schedule an appointment for outpatients. For inpatient radiology services, UMHS providers should use CareLink.

To reach Radiology for acute Radiology patient care needs after 5:00 p.m. weekdays and on weekends/holidays, please call the University of Michigan Health System operator at (734) 936-4000 and ask to be connected to the Radiology Resident On-Call (also known as the "1800 Resident").
