Clinical Research
The Department of Radiology at the University of Michigan supports a very active Clinical Research Division. The division is led by Isaac R. Francis, M.D., professor of radiology and associate chair for research in the Department of Radiology.
The division is managed by a full-time clinical research project manager and a half-time grants manager. The division currently employs seven full-time research coordinators and one half-time research coordinator dedicated to the Basic Science Division. In addition, we have a three-quarter time research coordinator dedicated to regulatory document preparation.
The entire Research Division is currently supported by $12M in federal funding and $1M in non-federal funding including industry-sponsored clinical trials.

- Ultrasound, CT and MRI studies
- Mammography studies
- Preventive Health Studies
