Samarium-153 Therapy (treatment)
* Inform your physician if you are pregnant or breast feeding.
You have been scheduled for a Samarium-153 Therapy which involves the use of a radioactive material.
Patient Preparation
Hydrate prior and after injection. Informed consent will be obtained.
Procedure
The radioactive material will be injected into a vein in your arm. Your prescribed dosage will be administered over a period of one minute.
