Pediatric: Our Education
The Section of Pediatric Radiology participates in the education of fellows, residents and medical students, and has an accredited Pediatric Radiology Fellowship position. In addition, residents from the University of Michigan Department of Radiology Residency Program rotate through the section. The fellow and residents learn through readout of cases, participation in procedures and diagnostic examinations, section and departmental teaching conferences and lectures and interdepartmental conferences. Residents from other disciplines and senior medical students may rotate through the section.
The department participates in several multidisciplinary conferences including regular lectures for the pediatric residents, pediatric pulmonology (monthly), pediatric urology (weekly), pediatric radiology-surgery-pathology (monthly), pediatric tumor board (twice monthly), child abuse review committee (monthly) and others.
