Cardiothoracic: Our Education
Faculty and fellows in Cardiothoracic Radiology provide education on the clinical service to medical students, residents in diagnostic radiology and fellows in cardiovascular medicine fellows. Cardiothoracic radiology is a popular rotation for medical students to either spend a one month elective in, or to spend a week in during a one month general radiology clerkship. We also host students from many other areas, including radiology technologist students, nursing students and respiratory therapy students,
We participate in weekly cardiothoracic radiology noon conferences tailored to radiology residents, as well as a series of lectures to the cardiovascular medicine fellows on cardiac CT and MR, as well as a lecture series open to all fellows in the radiology department that many specialties in the department contribute to, held every Thursday at noon.
