Breast Imaging: Residency

The objectives of the breast imaging rotation are to provide the resident with a progressive exposure to breast imaging performance and interpretation throughout the four year residency. This rotation consists of a single three or four week rotation on the breast imaging service. The rotation is to be supplemented by extensive resident reading, and weekly morning conferences, as well as a weekly multidisciplinary cancer conference. In addition, residents are expected to lead a Wednesday morning breast imaging interesting case conference at some time during the second, third, and fourth years, at which time interesting breast imaging cases will be presented and discussed.
