Patrice Carrello was a Research
Fellow on the Center's NIAAA-funded training grant. Research
projects examinied the neuropsychological functioning of alcoholics
with prolonged abstinence and the cerebral metabolism of alcoholics
with varying levels of abstinence. She also conducted research
on alcohol expectancies and alcohol-related problem behaviors
among heavy drinking college students and risk factors for
relapse among alcoholics and other drug dependent individuals.
Her clinical work involved neuropsychological evaluation of
adults and adolescents presenting with neurological, psychiatric,
or unknown disorders.
