Department of Psychiatry PGY II residents selected by UM Medical Students to receive "Bronze Beeper Awards"

Justin Paltrowitz, MD and Justin Coffey, MD selected by Medical Students to receive "Bronze Beeper Awards" this year. From the Galens Medical Society Awards Committee:

"Every year Galens Medical Society awards one Silver Shovel and 15 Bronze Beepers on the last night of the Smoker. These awards are presented to those individuals who are felt to be outstanding teachers. Nominations were accepted from the entire M3 and M4 classes, and voted on by Galens members. Several residents from your department will be awarded Bronze Beepers, including: Justin Paltrowitz MD and Justin Coffey MD.

"In addition, this year we will be presenting the Golden Beeper Award in conjunction with MCAS. This award will be given to the top male and female Bronze Beeper Award vote recipients as voted on by the entire M3 and M4 classes. The winner of this award will be announced at the award ceremony. In addition to the Galens Bronze Beeper pin, MCAS will be presenting the winners with a $2,000 check."
