M-LINE
M-LINE is the Referring Physician Communication Service at the University of Michigan Health System (UMHS). M-LINE is a single, 24-hour, toll-free number for referring physicians and their staff seeking access to clinical services and faculty at the Health System. M-LINE physician representatives work closely with personnel across the Health System to provide efficient, personalized service and will stay on the line with your call until your request is met to your satisfaction.
One number, unlimited assistance. M-LINE. With it, referring physicians and their staff can reach more than 3,000 doctors and 26 departments, 24 hours a day.

In Nov 2004 the U-M Health System physician and consumer call center was the first academic medical center in the nation to receive certification as a Center of Excellence by BenchmarkPortal.

M-CALL
M-CALL is the University of Michigan Health System 's referral coordination service for Integrated Health Associates (IHA). M-CALL referral coordinators work closely with personnel across the Health System to provide efficient and personalized service.
IHA is a local primary care physician group of 100 physicians. The Health System has contracted with IHA to provide services to members through the U-M Health System contract with Blue Care Network.
