Logo Downloads
The Block M logo is a federally registered trademark and making any changes or alterations to it are strictly prohibited. Significant assets, including the Cancer Center, C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital, the Cardivascular Center, just to name a few, have been granted use of a unique logo. Health System clinics and Medical School departments and divisions do not have their own logo outside of those used on care provider or “white” coats.
The U-M Health System Department of Public Relations and Marketing Communications has partnered with Central Campus to put all logos, usage, style guidelines and related information in one location - the Identity Guidelines Web page under the Office of the Vice President of Communications for the University. On this site you will find helpful information on copyright and trademarks, University policies, usage and permissions and be able to download logos.
NOTE: You need to provide your unique name and Level-1 password to gain access.
In some special circumstances, others have been given permission to use a unique logo, those logos are available below. Simply right-click on the format link (EPS, PNG) and save the logo to your desktop or hard drive by selecting Save Target As:
NOTE: The logo is a graphic (picture). Save the logo to your desktop or hard drive. You can place/insert/import the graphic into a document. Open a Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) document then: Click where you want to insert the logo. Left click on the Insert menu, point to Picture, and then click From File. Locate the logo you want to insert. Click on the logo, then click on insert. See Microsoft help: Troubleshooting Graphics if you have difficulty.
By proceeding with the download of a University of Michigan Health System logo, you agree to adhere to the U-M Trademark Guidelines regarding proper use of U-M registered trademarks.
NOTE: University policy requires all purchases over $5000 to be competitively bid. Contact the UMHS Contracts and Procurement Office for assistance prior to placing orders.
University policy further requires that the use of the University name or logos on merchandise given away or used for internal promotions must be reviewed for approval by the Trademark Licensing Office and items must be purchased from a licensed vendor.
