The U-M Health System Department of Public Relations and Marketing Communications is partnering with Central Campus to put all logo, usage, style guidelines and related information in one location - the Identity Guidelines Web page under the Office of the Vice President of Communications for the University. You'll find all the Health System information, plus lots of new and helpful information on copyright and trademarks, University policies, usage and permissions, etc.
The most requested logos are offered below. Simply right-click on the format link (EPS, GIF, TIF) and save the logo to your desktop or hard drive by selecting Save Target As:
Which format should I use?
EPS-Use with more advanced graphics software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Freehand) or desktop publishing programs (e.g., InDesign, QuarkXPress, PageMaker) or when providing the logo for publishing purposes.
GIF-Use on the web.
TIF-Use with Microsoft products (e.g., Power Point, Word, Excel)
NOTE: The logo is a graphic (picture). Save the logo to your desktop or hard drive. You can place/insert/import the graphic into a document. Open a Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) document then: Click where you want to insert the logo. Left click on the Insert menu, point to Picture, and then click From File. Locate the logo you want to insert. Click on the logo, then click on insert. See Microsoft help: Troubleshooting Graphics if you have difficulty.
