Cancer AnswerLine

Cancer AnswerLine is a free community service of the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center. Cancer AnswerLine is staffed by experienced Oncology nurses who combine knowledge and compassion to provide personalized answers to each caller's questions.

Individuals who have been diagnosed with cancer, as well as their family members and friends, need a comprehensive resource for cancer information and often need assistance in navigating the cancer care delivery system including support groups and community resources. The nurses offer information on the entire spectrum of cancer issues including:

  • Prevention
  • Risk Reduction
  • Warning Signs
  • Detection Methods
  • Treatment Options
  • Clinical Trials
  • Support Services
  • Provider Referrals
  • Appointment Scheduling

Nurses are available to answer calls Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
