UMHS Social Work’s Holiday Sponsorship Program

Each year, the UMHS Department of Social Work pulls together a list of adult and pediatric patients who are not financially able to provide for the December holiday season. The department then matches the list with individuals, departments, and organizations willing to sponsor our patients and families to help make their holiday season a little brighter. Items needed include phone cards and gift certificates for stores that sell toys, clothing, food, gas, prescriptions, etc. We also greatly appreciate monetary donations that are used exclusively for our patients and families. UMHS employees willing to donate their holiday gift coupons are especially welcome to do so. Delivery of all items will need to take place by December 8th.

For details about this annual project, please contact Mary Ann Bremer Wilson at mwils@med.umich.edu or by calling 734-764-8052.

If your area has special holiday gift ideas and you would like them displayed on this page, please send updates to csjessie@umich.edu.
