FAQs
How do I get information posted to my Web site?
If you have worked with us to design and set up your website, you simply need to e-mail your changes to your web coordinator or account manager. Not sure who your web coordinator is? Call 764-2220. For other information on our web services visit this site.
How do I post a banner ad on the UMHS Web sites?
For the UMHS home page contact Sarah Caruso from PRMC at with the following information:
- The date of your event or deadline for your message.
- Content: a summary on your event or program.
- Pictures: if you have a specific image you’d like to use include it in your email.
- URL: All banner ads point to an up-to-date Web site for more information.
PRMC will provide you with the actual weeks your ad will be in rotation, and you will be able to see a draft of the ad prior to posting. The schedule does fill up fast. Try to get your request into PRMC at least 60 days prior to your event or program.
For the CVC home page contact Juliet Ballard at 734-232-5121. For the internal home page contact Allison Krieger in PRMC.
How do I post a screen saver?
Send your request to Sarah Caruso at least 6 weeks before you would like it to run. Include a brief message (remember the image will only display for a few seconds at a time), a URL people can use to get more information, and a file of or link to an image you would like to use. Screen savers may run up to 4 weeks at a time, pending PRMC approval.
Note that a screen saver is one tactic used to spread awareness of a program, event, announcement or other information that is relevant to the employees across the entire institution. Screen savers do NOT promote specific department celebrations, awards or events (in these circumstances a banner ad on the internal or external homepage may be appropriate).
PRMC will provide you with the actual dates your screen saver will be in rotation, and we will e-mail you a draft of the image prior to posting.
