The UMHS Pride Network is an employee resource and patient advocacy group for TBLGA (Transgender, Bisexual, Lesbian, Gay, and Allies) UMHS faculty and staff working to ensure an inclusive, respectful environment for TBLG staff and to promote cultural competency related to the care of this patient population.
As a network member, you will receive information about our initiatives and learn about ways in which you can participate.
We hope you join us in a community that shares a vision of being an organization that recognizes, respects, fosters and fully maximizes the strengths and differences among its employees in order to be the employer and provider of choice.
Vision Statement
The Pride Network will create a safe, inclusive, equitable, confidential and supportive environment for TBLGA staff, faculty, students, patients and visitors at UMHS, so that everyone is empowered to be authentic without fear.

The UMHS Pride Network, focusing on concerns of sexual orientation and gender identity, will contribute to the creation and maintenance of an inclusive UMHS environment; through visibility, education, advocacy, and support for the TBLGA community.
