Dr. Antonucci obtained her M.A. (1972) and Ph.D. (1973) in Life-span Development Psychology from Wayne State University . Her research interests have focused for more than twenty years on social relationships and health across the life-span. |
Dr. Hughes' research focuses primarily on the psychosocial health and the health promotion of women with physical disabilities. |
Carol
J. Gill, Ph.D. Dr. Gill has published 22 journal articles, 12 book chapters, and 36 articles in disability periodicals, many having a selected focus on the issues of women with disabilities. |

Dr. Crewe is recently retired as Professor of Rehabilitation Psychology at MSU and is nationally recognized for her research contributions to the field of Rehabilitation, particularly in the area of spinal cord injury and women with disabilities. |
Dr. Quint's work focuses mainly on the reproductive health care needs of women with mental and/or physical disabilities. |
Anne has presented at the National Spinal Cord Injury Conference on research regarding the Sharp Center's SCI Women's Support Group. In 1968 she sustained a SCI at the cervical-7 level at age 18 and was a patient at University of Michigan Medical Center. |
Shelia
StarkIn 1990 Shelia sustained tetraplegic injuries (C6) as a result of a gunshot wound. She provides this project with an insider’s perspective on how women handle the stress of everyday life following spinal cord injury. |
